message from Coach Dave about Nutrition:
It's
important that the boys learn to properly
fuel their young bodies especially when playing
in tournament weekends. During the summer
and the upcoming season I'd like to help stress
to the boys the importance of proper nutrient
to make them stronger and healthier. Parents,
your help with the boys would be greatly appreciated...
I'm not saying the boys should not have the
junk foods they love but they need to know
the proper foods to fuel their young bodies
at the right time.
The
following link is the first of a few articles
I will be sending out to the parents and ask
that you print these out and have the boys
read it as well. These are the formulas that
the professional athletes follow as well,
maybe that will help to motivate the boys.
